LOS ANGELES Derek Carr Raiders Jersey , Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- Dirk Nowitzki hit the game-winner with 2.1 seconds to play, and the Dallas Mavericks hung on for a 92-90 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers, who lost their seventh consecutive game on Tuesday night at Staples Center.

Nowitzki scored eight of his 13 points in the fourth quarter as the Mavericks snapped a two-game skid with their 10th consecutive victory over the Lakers.

He put the Mavericks ahead on a jumper with 2:31 to play, but Jordan Clarkson tied it moments later. Both teams missed open shots before Lou Williams electrified the crowd with what looked like a go-ahead basket with 13.5 seconds left, but was called for an offensive foul on Jose Barea, setting the stage for Nowitzki to hit a pull-up jumper, then took a moment to point to the Lakers star Kobe Bryant, who stood by the Lakers' bench in street clothes.

Julius Randle started off the game hot, making four mid-range jumpers in the first half, but he missed at the buzzer for the Lakers when he got a good look at an open three-point. Randle ended the night with another double-double, putting in 16 points and 11 rebounds.

"Got to put the ball in his hands. That was a great shot. It was extremely well-timed, and i noticed after he hit it, he went and gave Kobe (Bryant) a little pat," Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle said to media after the game.

The sore shoulder prevented Bryant from facing Nowitzki for the 50th and final time in the careers of the NBA's top two active scorers. Nowitzki is two months older than the 37-year-old Bryant, and the German 7-footer entered the NBA in 1998, two years after Bryant's debut.

Bryant had harsh words of motivation for his young teammates after their most recent loss in Portland, but decided he shouldn't play through the re-occurring pain in his shoulder.

Clarkson scored 18 points, seven assists and six rebounds for the Lakers. D'Angelo Russell scored 12 points with no assists in 24 minutes off the bench.

"They're learning. Our younger guys are really starting to understand what we're trying to do on a night-night basis. The mistakes were a lot less tonight, especially on coverages, than they had been," Lakers head coach Byron Scott said to media.

Hematoma is the medical term referring to a bruise. Hematoma occurs when a blood vessel, such as a vein or capillary, is cut or damaged and thus bleeds under the skin. The vessel forms a clot and eventually heals, but the blood that leaks turns the skin yellow, blue or green.

There are many types of hematoma:
• Subdermal hematoma (under the skin)
• Headbrain:
o Subgaleal hematoma – between the galea aponeurosis and periosteum
o Cephalohematoma – between the periosteum and skull. Commonly caused by vacuum delivery and vertex delivery.
o Epidural hematoma – between the skull and dura mater
o Subdural hematoma – between the dura mater and arachnoid mater
o Subarachnoid hematoma – between the arachnoid mater and pia mater (the subarachnoid space)
o Othematoma – between the skin and the layers of cartilage of the ear
• Perichondral hematoma (ear)
• Perianal hematoma (anus)
• Subungual hematoma (nail)

Subdural hematoma is one of the various types of hematomas. It occurs due to the result of a serious head injury. In subdural hematoma tiny veins between the surface of the brain and its outer covering (the dura) stretch and tear, allowing blood to collect. In the elderly, the veins are often already stretched because of brain atrophy (shrinkage) and are more easily injured.

The person who uses anticoagulant medication (blood thinners, including aspirin), had long-term abuse of alcohol, recurrent falls, repeated head injury or are very young or very old age are likely to get hematoma more. Symptoms of hematoma apart from black and blue bruise on skin are:
• Confused speech
• Difficulty with balance or walking
• Headache
• Lethargy or confusion
• Loss of consciousness
• Nausea and vomiting
• Numbness
• Seizures
• Slurred speech
• Visual disturbances
• Weakness

Symptoms in infants are:
• Bulging fontanelles (the "soft spots" of the baby's skull)
• Feeding difficulties
• Focal seizures
• Generalized tonic-clonic seizure
• High-pitched cry
• Increased head circumference
• Increased sleepiness or lethargy
• Irritability
• Persistent vomiting
• Separated sutures (the areas where growing skull bones join)

If you see any of the above given symptoms then you must contact hematoma specialist doctor for proper treatment.
Hernia occurs when part of an internal organ pushes out through an opening in its surrounding tissue. Sometimes it can occur internally and commonly occurs when there is a weakness in various parts of the abdominal wall. Hernia can also be seen in children, infants and elderly people.

Hernias occur with heavy lifting, straining while using the toilet, or any activity that raises the pressure inside the abdomen. Hernias may be present at birth, but the bulge may not be noticeable until later in life. Some patients may have a family history of hernias. There are many other causes which can be the reason behind hernia like:
• Chronic constipation, straining to have bowel movements
• Chronic cough
• Cystic fibrosis
• Enlarged prostate, straining to urinate
• Extra weight
• Fluid in the abdomen (ascites)
• Heavy lifting
• Peritoneal dialysis
• Poor nutrition
• Smoking
• Overexertion
